Hanahana Beauty Pop-Up - Chicago
Born in Chicago in 2017, Hanahana is known for championing ethically sourced shea-butter products, with key ingredients from the Katariga Women’s Shea Cooperative in Ghana. Beyond fair sourcing, Hanahana supports the well-being of their partners through the Hanahana Circle of Care, which collaborates with providers in Tamale to deliver essential healthcare and resources to the cooperatives.
To celebrate the launch of Skin Nutrition, Hanahana’s first facial skincare product—a powder mask formulated to reduce skin congestion—the brand hosted experiential pop-ups in New York and Chicago. Curean Studio carefully crafted pop-up experiences that celebrated both Skin Nutrition’s innovative components as well as the incredible evolution of Hanahana. Elements of spatial design highlighted the natural power of Skin Nutrition’s ingredients—willow bark for even skin tone, spirulina for strengthening and hydration, and hibiscus for its skin-enriching properties. Each element was thoughtfully woven with these components, offering an immersive journey through the story of Hanahana, from its roots in Ghana to its ability to help us ‘Not Be Ashy’ creating an environment as nourishing as the product itself.
